Short description: My objectives in this assignment were to learn strategy behind crowd-funding proposals and how to appeal to potential funders; practice creating basic elements of a crowd-funding proposal; become familiar with crowd-funding websites and have a potential portfolio piece related to business models. In the Emerging Business Models section of this course, it was discussed crowd-funding and its potential as a means of launching new projects or finishing funds for business ventures. This exercise provided me experience in developing a potential project and strategy to make it appeal to potential donors.

Short description: In this PowerPoint slide presentation, I had to choose an entertainment company, explain its background information, talk about its customer segments, show research over the value proposition of the chosen company, which was Netflix, describe its channels of distribution, customer relationships, key activities, key resources and, key partners. The cost structure is explained with a graph and at last, Netflix revenue streams are listed with a conclusion.

Then, I summarized the benefits of completing this training and how it will aide me in the workforce upon graduation.

Short description: In this assignment, I had to focus on information request letters. First, I had to write a 300-word analysis of what a good information request letter should include. Then, I had to write my own letter requesting information from a busy professional. I needed to choose a person who is currently employed in my “dream job” (Alan Floyd, Beyoncé's Tour Manager) and create at least 3 questions to ask them, putting some thought into specific questions that can help you in your own career.
